Such a fabulous place to be visiting our dearest friends at their vacation home on this beautiful lake.
Having so much fun on and around the water.
Mt. Lassen near Lake Almanor, Northern California.
Climbing mountains. Dipping hot feet in high snow. Learning to use watercraft. Kissed by the sun. Showered by a quick rain. Grilling out. Tasting California wine. Making new friends.
So little time to blog. Will have great photos and stories to share when I have more time.
Just want you to know we are having a fabulous time here.
Tomorrow we leave for Salt Lake City.

Hello Mary, we just returned home and I am trying to catch up with everyone. I just scrolled down to your vacation posts and I am loving the trip. I know you are too. The shot of Jasmin taking her photo in the plane is very cute. Loved all youe beautiful photos and it tells the story of a wonderful time out West. An awesome opportunity for you all.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to be home to stay for a while. I am loving the last two mornings just sitting with my lap top and visiting my friends. did you know Vanessa decided not to blog anymore? She is on my facebook though. I do not get on facebook much as my blog takes all of my extra time. Sigh!

ReplyDeleteI've never been to this lake. It looks like a beautiful place. I really love living in CA because there are so many different kinds of scenery: ocean, mountains, lakes, desert, farmlands, forests.

It's so funny I found your blog through Nina Bagley's!! It's funny how you have traveled in all the places where I have lived!!! My family is from Chico, CA; I went to high school in Chester/Lake Almanor; and I now live in Bozeman near Yellowstone Park!!! Hope you had a wonderful time in all these places.
