...........I was getting ready for a trip to the South of France. This year no such luck, but I do have some Autumn travel plans closer to home, including meeting up with some dear blog friends in October.
If you would like to visit this lovely area, close to the city of Carcassonne, see my sidebar for B&B particulars.
Oh the nostalgia of those pitures and how much I wish we were in France now, it must surely be my spiritual home; I miss it so much.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I will get a shot in the arm next year when we visit for 2 weeks in late April.
Love the pictures.
Now I know why I don't like shutters on houses in America! I want some blue shutters that actually open and close! How pretty. When open, please come on in. When closed....I'm busy!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so lovely there. I can't wait until this coming March when I get to spend 3 weeks in France!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to October...
Hugs,
Penny
At least you have wonderful memories. I think might love France more than England now.
ReplyDeleteNancy
Memories are so sweet. And, your memories are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSigh, I know just what you mean. It is almost a year for us too. I am hoping for next year and would like to take the time to see more of France. I just love those shutters, such color on something so neutral.
ReplyDeleteI was in Provence a few years back before I had a digital camera. When I get back to Florida,I am going to do a lot of scanning and see how they come out. There is just a quality to your photos that is hard to match!

Lovely pics! Thanks for sharing!

I can't wait to see some of those windows and doorways. How beautiful the pictures and your memories are. It is one week now until I leave. My trip to Pt. Townsend went well and I bought some lavender honey for my website and an holiday sale I do every November. Now I must focus on getting packed and cleaning up loose ends.
ReplyDeleteOh my, how I do love those rustic looking walls in those dwellings. It makes me want to draw and paint them! And it seems they are always accented by the loveliest blue or green shutters.
ReplyDeleteMerci,
Christi
Hello Mary, I can't believe a whole year has passed since your trip. How time flies. Love your photos as always. Maybe one day I will get to Europe.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will forgive for a short comment. It is late and I should go to bed. Bill has already checked on my a few times. He is teaching four half days and needs his rest.
He loves it.
Goodnight dear friend.
Lovee xoxo, Jeanne
