Don't you love tassels?

My lovely friend Vanessa knows exactly what I like........and what will look perfect in my home. Last week she handed me a pretty gift bag holding a bottle of sweet smelling linen spray and this beautiful French blue tassel. Thank you so much Vanessa.

I knew where it would look great at home. Off came the dowdy beige tassel which had been dangling from the nickel and crystal knob. You can see this blue one is quite elegant here on the sideboard in the dining room.

Tassels can be used in so many ways around your home, visit here for some great ideas.

  2. I love tassels too. I found some beautiful ones in Marrakech a few years ago. I hung them from the curtain rod at the top of my curtains.

  10. Hello Mary, yes, I do love tassels. I have a gorgeous gold tassel that has not shown up since we have moved. There are a few things that turn up every once and a while, but not my tassel. I am sure it is in a box somewhere. Your tassel from sweet Vanessa is just perfect for your French look. It looks beautiful where you hung it Mary.

Come over to my post today Mary. I think you will enjoy the photos. It is about my trip to Michigan.

I have been gone most of the day and now I am trying to visit a bit. So many bloggers and so little time. sigh.

I love the photo of Jasmin and Razzy. Jasmin is a beautiful girl. I know you are proud of her. Our Ashley will be 15 in Oct. How fast they grow up.

    Have a lovely evening Mary.

    Love and hugs xoxo, Jeanne

  11. Mary,

When I saw the title of your post, my mind went to the gutter. I had to check to see if you were wearing tassles. I'm glad to see it's your furniture wearing the tassels. Very pretty!

  14. a lovely vignette Mary - the tassel adds just the right finishing touch. I'm working at de-cluttering and creating some vignettes to show off my finished stock of one of a kind handstitched quilts. I really need to simplify!!! You have done it so well.

  15. Hi Mary,

Your tassel looks gorgeous in your dining room. Did you ever think that so many colors and items would look so pretty in that room as you were fixing it up?? Everything always looks lovlier in there.

I need to find out how to use tassels by going to your link. Don't have any. Maybe I shouldn't go...lol!!

    xoxo
