My lovely friend Vanessa knows exactly what I like........and what will look perfect in my home. Last week she handed me a pretty gift bag holding a bottle of sweet smelling linen spray and this beautiful French blue tassel. Thank you so much Vanessa.

I knew where it would look great at home. Off came the dowdy beige tassel which had been dangling from the nickel and crystal knob. You can see this blue one is quite elegant here on the sideboard in the dining room.
Tassels can be used in so many ways around your home, visit here for some great ideas.
Pretty French blue tassel, so stylish. What a very nice friend Vanessa is.

I love tassels too. I found some beautiful ones in Marrakech a few years ago. I hung them from the curtain rod at the top of my curtains.
ReplyDeleteHi acroos the pond from someone who has barely left the state of Indiana! I love tassels too! It seems the older I get the more I love the girly stuff.

Mary! You're sweet and lovely! There's something special about the way you display things that makes them look even prettier and elegant. I'm glad you enjoyed those little gits. Love, Vanessa
ReplyDeleteThe tassel is very elegant. And what a cool, calming color. I really like your sideboard!

That is quite a tassel; fits just perfectly. But I have eye on these: Fiddlestics
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect color for your sideboard. I love tassels too and am always on the lookout for some unique ones.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary...The tassel looks great on the sideboard. Thanks, Vanessa, for the special gift. I've wrapped up my work here in New Orleans and will be heading home tomorrow to see what else you acquired during my short absence. Love, DH Bob
ReplyDeleteHello Mary, yes, I do love tassels. I have a gorgeous gold tassel that has not shown up since we have moved. There are a few things that turn up every once and a while, but not my tassel. I am sure it is in a box somewhere. Your tassel from sweet Vanessa is just perfect for your French look. It looks beautiful where you hung it Mary.
ReplyDeleteCome over to my post today Mary. I think you will enjoy the photos. It is about my trip to Michigan.
I have been gone most of the day and now I am trying to visit a bit. So many bloggers and so little time. sigh.
I love the photo of Jasmin and Razzy. Jasmin is a beautiful girl. I know you are proud of her. Our Ashley will be 15 in Oct. How fast they grow up.
Have a lovely evening Mary.
Love and hugs xoxo, Jeanne
Mary,
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title of your post, my mind went to the gutter. I had to check to see if you were wearing tassles. I'm glad to see it's your furniture wearing the tassels. Very pretty!

Vanessa has lovely taste in friends and gifts.
ReplyDeleteI am also a tassel lover. xx
I love tassels and think that a girl can never have enough of them.

a lovely vignette Mary - the tassel adds just the right finishing touch. I'm working at de-cluttering and creating some vignettes to show off my finished stock of one of a kind handstitched quilts. I really need to simplify!!! You have done it so well.
ReplyDeleteJanet in Nova Scotia where the leaves are turning and it is cool now.
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteYour tassel looks gorgeous in your dining room. Did you ever think that so many colors and items would look so pretty in that room as you were fixing it up?? Everything always looks lovlier in there.
I need to find out how to use tassels by going to your link. Don't have any. Maybe I shouldn't go...lol!!
xoxo
