Friday's Favorite Family Foto

Lost in the music while playing the piano at Arts Together
~ August 2008 ~

A granddaughter wants a piano. It doesn't have to be a fancy one. It does need to be in tune. The wood can be scratched...................piano shawls are beautiful. It has to fold up to fit into a small apartment or cottage!
Dream on sweet child. Sometimes dreams come true.

  1. I hope her dream comes true. I had the same dream, but it was one that didn't come true for me. I still wish I had learned to play. But, life moved on, and other dreams have come true.

  6. Mary,
I wanted a piano very much when I was in the 5th grade...I never got one but my daughter did. She's now a music teacher!

I have an award for you on my post - - - if you want to and have the time.

    Hugs,
    Jean

  7. Mary, I can't believe I haven't been to your blog these past couple of days. I guess because we have been emailing I let the days slide by. France is getting closer and I know you are getting ready. A trip like that takes major planning. Especially now with the luggage limits. How is the walking coming along?

I love your decoupage items. That is something I can manage. It all looks charming.

Jasmin looks so pensive in that photo. Beautiful. I envy your closeness with your lovely granddaughter. I adore mine too, but They are not close by.

    Love and hugs, Jeanne

  8. Mary, I forgot to tell you I gave you an award. You have become a dear friend and this award says I wish we could sit and have coffee or tea together and chat often. Please do not worry about passing it on. Just know I am thinking about you.

Love to you my friend, Jeanne

  9. I came over to see your always beautiful Friday family foto. As always, you didn't disappoint.

When we got married, the only piece of furniture my husband and I owned was a wonderful baby grand piano!

    Happy weekend to you!
