Sunday Morning in Spain

A brief sojourn in Northern Spain - June 2006. The small Catalan town of Castello D'Empuries.

The beauty of the colors in the old tiles, the stones carved by ancient hands. The buildings each told their story.

Catedral de Santa Maria

Our hotel looked down into the small square - bustling later in the morning but so quiet at the early hour after dawn.

  4. Hi Mary...these photos are wonderful!

I caught an episode of House Hunters International (HGTV), the other night. The prospective home buyer was looking for an apartment in Spain. I enjoyed it so much!

  5. Beautiful pictures - the colors are so wonderful! I looked at "For the Love of Old" several times but I ended up not buying it. The pictures weren't all that great and I just didn't feel it was worth the price.

  7. Wonderful photos Mary! Many years ago we were in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville...I loved it!

BTW, were you at North Hills this afternoon?...Penneys?

I passed a lady there and for some reason thought of you. The resemblance to your picture was amazing, except she had shorter hair. I nodded and said "Hello". At the counter, she came with an armload full of clothes and asked if she could leave them there while she picked up her granddaughter. She told them her name was MARY and I nearly fell over! I thought, well, I'll wait 10 minutes to see if she comes back with Jasmine...but it wasn't Jasmine.

I cannot access my post/edit page on my blog...I guess they cleaned my computer out a little too much.
I came to my daughter's to use her computer for a few minutes before heading home.

When are you leaving? I'll check your blog - I think you mentioned when.

    Hugs,
    Deborah

  8. It looks so beautiful! I bet it was tough to leave all that beauty and come back to every day life (not that every day life is bad). It's great to have such wonderful pictures of your travels.
