A pale silk blossom on a quilted satin box ~ keepsakes, jewelery, love letters, could be safely hidden here. Did you save love letters from the past?

A delicate porcelain rose on a china box. What sweet memories could one tuck inside. Perhaps trinkets and notes, any small items from childhood such as tiny toys, maybe even baby teeth. The rose garland on this vintage platter is pretty.

The pale pinks are so pretty. Love letters, I think I have a few tucked away somewhere from my husband to be. He use to write to me how "wornderful" I was. I still tease him about that.
ReplyDeleteLovely roses. The pinks are so subtle.

I do have all the letters Jos wrote me to me before I immigrated to Holland. I have them tied with a ribbon but a quilted pouch would be a sweet way to save these old memories. Humm...I feel another project coming on. :-)
ReplyDeleteJust back from a longer stay at Cranberry Cottage. Tomorrow is back to work for Jos and he is already starting to go through his emails. :-( It was nice to ignore his work for two weeks.

Congratulations on your new camera. I use and Olympus, and I love it. I have been using Olympus cameras since the 1970s.
Happy Pink Saturday. Oh, I purchased a new computer today. Now I just have to get everything installed, configured and recovered. Plus, I have to work tomorrow. I will be over your way the next few days. I'll be working on Wake Forest just off of the beltline.
A lovely post - and I love your photoshop effects on the pictures too. Scratches - very unusual (brushes?)
