A sweet friend came to visit last week. She brought flowers from her garden. Just how I love them..........loose and unstructured, as if picked in the wild from a rolling field. Placed effortlessly in simple glass. Tied with perfect garden string. I could smell perfume mixed with green tones, ozone and earth. Mary Ann, you made me happy with the late season bounty from your beautiful garden. Thank you for being my friend.
How pretty and so much the way I love my flowers...
ReplyDeleteYou have come up with a new header design and I love the color (or lack of) and simplicity.
Thank you for your comments on my last post. You have a way of making me feel very good about myself.
xoxo

ReplyDeleteGood morning Mary, your friendship flowers are so sweet. I love them the very same way. Loose and informal. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was at Rhondi's last night. I'll go back and check it out. I would love to join in. she has a lovely blog.
Thank you for the birthday greeting Mary. I will be thinking of you and Penny on Friday. I hope her move went well. Such a hard job. Her new home is looking wonderful.
Love and hugs, Jeanne
They are just lovely! Very fall looking flowers!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Lisa
Lovely new blog header. You are blessed to have such lovely friends. Flowers and friends...nature's true gifts.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAnd, btw, believe me, Mary, I have no problem crying! Done plenty of that as of late. Thanks always for your kind words. Oh, and in case you didn't know I have a teenaged daughter, our oldest too. She is lovely but a social creature as of late. Hard to get time with her as much as I'd enjoy.
anyway, could you possibly put in the "followers" tag on your side bar? It would make it so much easier to get here. I forget the name of your blog otherwise.
My big sis gets married next year for the 2nd time round after 25 years the first time. Quite exciting. I hope to go out then to give her away as her one adn only brother! We'll see.
