No Place Like Home.....but where is it?

Departing London's Heathrow Airport ~ goodbye my lovely homeland.

Between leaving England Sunday morning and arriving in the USA Sunday afternoon...............
...........there were two blissful weeks among acres of green and gold............

...........a huge ocean and hidden bays of blue water.
There were stunning countryscapes dressed for Spring, decorated by a million newborn babes.

I've captured England's "green and pleasant land" especially for you................one thousand six hundred images!! Be patient, I'm jet lagged.
The East Coast came into view ~ I am home again.

  3. What lovely images. I must admit I became a bit sad over the image of your departure from Heathrow. To leave such beautiful land. *sigh* Oh to be in England!

  6. Glad you are safe home again and that you had such a good time over here. You've posted some wonderful photos, look forward to seeing more when you recover. I always find jet lag worse going from here to the US than the other way round..

  15. Mary, I should have checked your blog, Beverly just told me you were home. It's no wonder I didn't know I am swamped this week. We have house guests and at the same time packing to go on a 5 to 6 week trip out West. LOL.

Your photos except the airport are stunning. Beautiful, beautiful England. Not that the airport isn't a good photo, it just is not as charming. I know you had a wonderful time there. The place where you stayed is lovely in the surrounding area as well.

I am glad you are home safe and sound.

    Hugs and love...Jeanne

  16. Oh gosh, you are making me seriously homesick!! this is almost torture. :)

Well, atleast it is green here for a bit--it will last about a month before the dry Colorado brown returns everywhere as it is all year round, wen not white with snow that is which in comparison, is a welcome relief.
