Just too much to be seeing and enjoying at one time! Riding across Devon in a mini-bus with ten others on daily expeditions, is raucous, hilarious, and often downright crazy. We all get along great though and are seeing the Westcountry in her bright green Spring glory.

Must have
aaahhed over thousands of newborn lambs............the rolling hills are covered with them........................

................a stop at a miniature horse farm included a
falconry display with this wise owl also.

The rooster, as usual, strutted his stuff and his beautiful colors.

In the 'nursery' several day old foals snuggled close to their mothers.
We are so busy but I'll try to post again soon. Off shortly on another day trip - luckily the weather is glorious.
Oh Mary, how beautiful!!! I'm so glad you made it over there and are feeling better. Enjoying your blog with a cup a tea for ever posting. Just love your pictures. Here, the roses are blooming...red knock-outs, pink climbing, yellow and oranges and the blue boys are ready to pop. Iris, not the Japanese yet, are also swaying in the breeze. Looks like the indigo and baptisima are about to strut too. Peonies just came out yesterday, I smelled them before I saw them :). Enjoy being home. Miss you from here. Mary Ann
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!! Love the little foals! Kyle had fun seeing these pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased to hear you have such good weather. It is so wonderful to be outside seeing the countryside when it is like this. Perhaps you will stay and then I can pop over on the ferry and visit you for tea. :-) It is a treat to be with you on your travels through your blog entry. Enjoy all and have a spot of tea for me.

The wise owl reminded me of Harry Potter .. I have toured this part of your country twice, but both times in the Fall. It's lovely in Spring. Enjoy and be safe, laugh, eat and drink well.
ReplyDeleteYou are having a fabulous time I see. Glad the weather is being so amenable too.
ReplyDeleteThe Clapper Bridge, the lambs, the flowers, the foals; all so beautiful and comforting. Thanks for sharing it with us.
