Wings & Things

********

After dropping dh at the airport I decided to beat the heat at a large home decor marketplace. Many people display new treasures - with a few antiques thrown in - in their individual spaces under one roof. Now and then I find something really great while browsing and I did this time but you'll have to wait until Christmastime to see it. Sorry to be such a tease - but here's a clue, angels are all around us!
*******

Meanwhile, sharing snoozing angels . . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . bathing Mourning Doves . . . . . . .
. . . . . some attractive ceramics . . . . .

........and especially for the blogger who loved flying pigs........can't remember who.......this one's for you!

All photos taken on a hot June day at The Shops of Baileywick, Raleigh, NC

  12. OH, you just have the neatest places up there to browse. I'm an angel and butterfly person, so I just loved the angels that you showed here. That pig was so unique....love the saying, "yeah, right, that'll happen when pigs fly." This little piggy is too cute.

  16. It is not nice to tease like that Mary! You could tell me as I can keep a secret really well. :) I love the little bird in the first photo. We have been hunting for a birdbath for ages. You cannot buy them here that are off the ground. Now can someone explain to me why you would want to lay a birdbath on the ground making the birds more vunerable? My search continues. And in the meantime, I am to our shed to see if there are any fun garden things to take up to Cranberry Cottage to use.

When is Bob home and are you enjoying some alone time?

    Hugs ~
