Coffee Break

Just returned from granddaughter Jasmin's fifth grade graduation ~ with the temp. close to 100, and the high humidity, it officially registered 103 degrees. Stepping out from the school gym to the picnic area the heat just knocked your socks off ~ if you were foolish enough to be wearing them on such a broiling hot day! Myself, crisp white linen and sandals......to start. Wrinkled, damp disheveled linen, bare feet in the grass.........the end!

So it's time for a coffee break....................forget the mug, this is what I'm planning and all that's required is a spoon, the only way to indulge in the best coffee ice cream ever. Right from the container.............of course.

Coffee ice cream lover's dream.

  2. That looks so refreshing hot or not. :) We buy our ice cream on the weekends from a lady that makes it herself at a cooking museum. She has some incredible flavours. I have taken to making ice coffee lately. It is very addictive to drink these yummy cold coffee and ice cream drinks.

Does Jasmin have any special plans for her summer?

    Hugs ~

P.S. ~ Did you know that Mandie and Zoe are back in NC?

  6. Mary, I had no idea it got so hot there and humid too. It gets as hot her but we don't get that sticky humidity--thank God!

i couldn't agree with you more on your choice of refresher for such a day like that. Oooh, I absolutely love this ice cream too. No doubt, you will have to add it to the meme you are going to do, under 5 snacks section! :)

  11. That's the idea! The colder the treat the better when it is that hot! It has been brutal here also and I have pretty much stayed inside (on the computer LOL!) during the hottest part of the day.

  14. Congratulations to sweet Jasmin!

I haven't tried Starbucks Coffee ice cream, but I will!

We're still having a bit of a break in temps. And that's a good thing...since the AC decided to go wonky for a couple days! Alls well now, though.

  15. Congratulations to Jasmin! Sorry for your heat, ours has been the same (but without the AC). Today is drier and will only hit 90. Hurray! Now about that pesky pine pollen that is blowing in clouds. It's always something; perhaps I just need some ice cream to improve my attitude.

  17. Hi Mary:
At Kristy's house you can always get coffee ice cream. Not for her, she is no ice cream lover but Mitchell and his Daddy love it.
Comgrats to your Grandaughter and glad you did't melt.

  18. Hello Mary, thank you for encouraging words about my landscaping. I want it to grow fast, but I know better. I love the gardening part.

Best wishes to your sweet granddaughter. Middle school here she comes. A real adjustment for some kids.

You just chose the most out of this world coffee ice cream ever. We adore it. All flavors of this coffee ice cream are great. Which is your favorite? I think they have three or four kinds.

    Love ya, Jeanne
