Hello my pretties..............glad to see you weren't scared off by my cackle. I'll be waiting for you to stop by the front porch this evening in search of sweeties, such nutritious treats for Halloween!
Don't mind the crows, they're harmless.............................just watch out for me, known to many as the witchiest witchy woman east of the west!
If my red hair and pointy shoes don't scare you, come on up the brick steps, reach into my cauldron and pull out a bag of M&M's. The man of the house shopped for sweet treats and bought his favorites, as usual. Just as well, this witch doesn't need to be gobbling sweeties after tonight!
I'll be waiting for you girls and boys!

Boooo! Happy Halloween! Lovin' your witchy woman!
ReplyDeleteVery spooky post Mary!! I love your pumpkins~did you stencil them? Terrific idea! I love the 'Mary" witch, red hair and all!! So tongue in cheek!!
ReplyDeleteWitches have no toes as they cannot fit their toes in pointed toe shoes any more than we mortals. That is why there is always that ugly 'toe cleavage'!!
Have a spooky day!!
xoxo

You're the sweetest witch I know! Don't know about the toes. Is that how you spot a witch? Happy Halloween! I'm off to the last marching band competition. My high school alma mater performs just before Will's band!
ReplyDeleteBest witches, to you! Cute, clever post. Have a fun Halloween. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteI do so have toes!!
ReplyDeleteHappiest of Halloweens to you!!
Witchy woman is fabulous! I love your white painted pumpkins, too! Happy Pink Saturday!

Don't know the answer to the Witch's toes question, but I do know that I love M&M's. Thanks and have a Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween dear witch of the east. Have a fun evening with the M&M's and kiddies.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know witches don't have toes!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
Hugs, Lisa
Love the photo effects - veyr spooky! RE the toes - I think they are just the same as us, victims of fashion and impervious to pain (till they get home and take their shoes off....)
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween and Spooky Pink Saturday!
I am so glad I came by your house Ms Witchy M and Ms are my favorite. Tee hee hee.

Don't let those rumors fool you. We witchy women do have toes - webbed toes, as a matter of fact, so we do need those pointed shoes. Ooh hoo, I am a Witchy Woman with the moon in her eye. Best not mess with me, fellas, or I will mesmerize you! I will hold you spellbound in the night. Sparks fly from my fingertips, I'm a restless spirit on an endless night.
ReplyDeleteI really miss Halloween here, especially the decorations, not to mention all of those tiny chocolate candies that make you feel less guilty when you eat them-oh, and candy corn.
ReplyDeleteHello dear Mary! I've missed you! Thank you for stopping by my poor neglected blog. I probably won't get to post so often, but I'll do what I can.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the kiddies got a delightful fright at your house this year! Maybe the pointy toed shoes are for kicking little children into their cauldrons for a nice bit of brat stew! Or perhaps it makes them more aerodynamic when riding their brooms. Hehehehehehe....
It's been lovely catching up on your blog. I hope I can find the time to keep up with you more. I know I can this week, since I'm on staycation. You have a knack for making me dream of places I've never been, but would like to go. So I can take a trip, even though I'm staying home this week!
xoxo
