Have you seen Martha Stewart's Halloween inspired stickers? I found some on sale at Michael's last week and scooped 'em up because they were really cute. Black, slightly glittered owls, ravens (crows?) bare branches, a couple of falling leaves and a feather-------two sheets in one package.
I think the stickers give a bit more dimension to the white pumpkins and gourds, plus they're not too cutesy or Halloweeny!!
Despite the ups and downs of her life, and whether you like her or not, Martha and her creative team of artists definitely know what it takes to create seasonal decorations with a bit of added elegance. I thank her for this.

No matter what you think of Martha she is classy and classic. I love all your things.
ReplyDeleteI love those stamps you got.

Hello Mary - happy October to you. Wow, those stickers are lovely...I really like them and had not seen them before. They look great on your white pumpkins especially.
ReplyDeleteI love these! No, I hadn't seen them. You have to admire Martha Stewart. Ups and downs and she springs up like a jack in the box despite the odds. And the woman is creative and knows how to make money!

I have always enjoyed watching Martha, and all of her ideas along with her staff ideas and magazine. I knew she would make a come back. I have not been to Michaels in a while maybe they might have some left. Country Living has something similar that you can download from their website.

Mary, your stickers look great and I do appreciate Martha Stewart's elegance and creative ability. There was a time when I didn't admire her but that has changed. She is a master at what she does. So are you my friend. Your home shows your decorating ability in a very elegant way. And it comes so easy for you. You get an inspiration and then it just happens. Thanks for inspiring the rest of us Mary.
ReplyDeleteI am cooking dinner and it needs my attention. My guy is hungry. LOL.
Love, Jeanne
Those are just beautiful, so unique. You have a great eye for detail
ReplyDeleteMary, I love the stickers. You are right, they are not too halloweeny, which appeals to me too. I like them. Thank you for your recent encouragment! I've had a severe case of brain fog with my hypothyroidism. I hope you are doing well. And it is still on my to-do list to meet you in person one of these days. :)
