Sail on silver moon.......

Did you peer at the moon over the weekend? It was huge, low and so silvery bright you could see all the craters clearly with a pair of regular binoculars. If you had a telescope the view must have been awesome.
Our four year old neighbor stood in the cold with us ~ we let her look through the binoculars and told her that men had walked there. She looked at us in disbelief.
We still look and feel the same amazement.

  5. Come to think of it, I've never seen the moon through binoculars or a telescope. I think I will work on that.

  6. We were outdoors gazing at that magical moon, too. It has always seemed magical and mystical to me. It never fails to intrigue.

  7. Mary:
You got a beutiful picture. George told me the moon was really pretty and I never did go out to see it. Enter that picture into a contest, you will win.
I like the picture of you on the side too.

  9. I was peering at the moon through binoculars, too. I didn't get any pictures but it was so beautiful, especially on a crisp, clear Land of Enchantment night!

  11. Hello Mary, we arrived home late last night. I did see the moon and it was gorgeous this weekend. Your photo is amazing. I have lots of catching up to do. I did get my post up for the tour of homes but not until this AM. I have been learning some new things on typepad. Come and see. smile.

  12. Mary, we did notice the moon. It was breathtaking! I love your picture. Why did I not think to get out the binoculars??

Thank you so much for your kind comments today. I really needed them today. I would LOVE for us to get together after the first of the year. I would love to meet you and feel the same way about you.

It's busy these days! I keep saying to myself -- keep things simple.

    Hugs,
    Lynn
