Nature's Glitter

GLITTER ~ A sparkling or glistening light; showy, often superficial attractiveness; small pieces of reflective decorative material; to sparkle brilliantly; glisten
.

Mother Nature certainly covered the many meanings of the word 'glitter' in a big way yesterday.
Spring is on hold for a few more days ~ it's very cold. Hope you enjoy more images from my garden, front porch and back deck. These will certainly be the last for this Winter.

FYI
~ Do stop by tomorrow.................at long last, a preview of the dining room chair painting project!

  6. Aren't you glad I dragged my snow shovel down from Massachusetts all those years ago? Shall I start in the driveway?

  7. Truly, the most beautiful of the snowy photos yet! My Briwax came in yesterday (I had to order it from the hardware store I love in this smallish city) and I am off to pick it up!!!!!

  8. It is so strange to see all that snow in North Carolina and we have none right now. Some huge piles in parking lots are all that remains. I hope it stays that way, but that is wishful thinking for Ohio. It is bitter cold though, only 10 degrees this morning.
    Have a good day.
    Love Nancy

  11. Hello Mary, I was gone all day yesterday and half of today. Atlanta yesterday to visit my sister and therapy this morning.

Your snow photos are beautiful. What fun to see what snow can do to make a winter wonderland out of ordinary things. You took some great shots. I loved the angel or little girl surrounded by snow in the shrubs. So sweet.

Can't wait to see your preview tomorrow Mary. I can feel for your aches and pain. I hope it will all be worth it. Soak in a deep tub of hot water. It does a body good.

    Loe and hugs...Jeanne

  13. Mary, contrasting the chandelier to the natural outdoor glitter was brilliant. Made for a wonderful pictorial too.

  16. Your snow photos in this and the previous post are such a treat. I love the way snow lies upon the curves and corners of things. We don't get to see that where I live, so thank you for sharing this special loveliness with me.

  17. I have never liked artificial glitter. But nature's glitter - ah, that's a different thing entirely!
