For today, another fun PINK SATURDAY with some Valentine related pretties. These below caught my eye last weekend at SuzAnna's Antiques, Valentines and general pink treasures for sale right now if you are in the area and can stop by.

Love this shepherdess in the pink dress and that's one gorgeous straw hat trimmed in pink ribbon - Easter bonnet anyone?

Vintage Valentines galore! Aren't they more romantic than today's often tacky cards?
Wouldn't it be fun going treasure hunting come Spring - wearing that straw hat - and filling this cute pink shopping basket?
Really pretty vintage tablecloths for a Valentine's Day luncheon.

Really pretty vintage tablecloths for a Valentine's Day luncheon.I've decided I will not post red pics tomorrow..............if you can stop back I'll surprise you with my take on St. Valentine's Day.
Meanwhile, enjoy your weekend and may you be surrounded by love and loved ones. Be sure to stop by Beverly's blog How Sweet The Sound for the list of this week's Pink Saturday participants.
Saturday Morning Edited: Warm hearts - cold snow!
We awoke to snow again - very pretty and just enough to not be much of a problem around here, thank goodness.

Happy Pink Saturday! Happy Valentine's Day! I love the Pinks!!

I love vintage cards so much more than new ones. The tablecloth caught my eye, and I also need to find one of those baskets with wheels! I bet you made some killer lampshades. Would love to see what you create with burlap! Have a wonderful Valentine weekend.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy browsing Suzanna's Antiques with you, the vintage Valentine's are wonderful. I have my eye on the shabby vintage scales on the table too.
ReplyDeleteStop by for a slice of Belgian Chocolate deliciousness in Normandy tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteSeveral nice pinks for today. Very nice post.
ReplyDeleteLove your header! I'm so with you on the loveliness of "yesterday's" old cards/postcards. It must be why I collect them. The snow that came through the Atlanta area must have moved over to your neighborhood! Not a common sight in our area.

I adore vintage Valentines - those were the days when they weren't afraid to be sentimental and romantic. Unlike today, where it all seems a little self-conscious. What a fabulous collection.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday, and Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow too!
Oh, this is such a beautiful pink post! I love that vintage basket... and the chair next to it! Here's wishing you a very Happy Pink Saturday and an even happier Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's To You ! I hope you are having a wonderful
ReplyDeletecelebration on this day of Pink and Red and all things of
Pretty Romance. The mint green table and chair set is just beautiful - and the basket. Happy Pink Saturday !!! and have a lovely
new week.
What a perfect pink basket! I have a huge old basket (I think it was actually for a baby) that I keep towels in. It would be perfect painted in that color! I always get excited about vintage tableclothes (it doesn't take much, does it?) and yours are wonderful. I'm glad to see the snow wasn't too bad for you. We've had 4 feet within a week, and there predicting more for Monday night! Have a good week. Terri
ReplyDeleteHello dear Mary, thank you so much for the sweet card. I love those cards. I am so bad about visiting lately. I scrolled down to all the posts I have missed and was surprised at how many there were. I vow to do better. The only excuse I have is company. Bob left today and my life will be back to normal again. I love him dearly but he is a very needy guest. Everything is behind including cleaning and working on my quilt. His stay was nearly a month.
ReplyDeleteI love the hearts hanging and the vignettes in Suzanna's shop. I would love to go there again. I like the photos of her and her daughter. What a fun business and what a wonderful shop.
The snow has stopped us cold (no pun intended). we are and have been snowed in with ice forming under the snow on our driveway. When Bob left a bit ago his back wheels slid all the way down our drive. Only his front wheels turned. Scary, but he is used to driving in bad snow. I hated to see him start off in this mess, but tomorrow we will be in worse shape.
Your previous posts are lovely Mary. I will try to not miss them again.
Have a happy Valentines Day
Love xoxo, Jeanne
Hi Mary, great shop you have there to visit. I'd like everything in that last shop picture, please ;) Your V's banner looks so pretty contrasted with the snowfall. Glad it's not too much snow - just enough to be enjoyable. Well, Happy Valentiine's Day and Pink Saturday to you and yours~
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday! Happy Valentines Day! Winona
ReplyDeleteSo many cute vintage Valentine things! It looks like you got the snow too. We had snow Friday and Saturday. Today it rained and nothing is left. Hope you stay warm too!!!
ReplyDeleteTake Care!
