Pretty Faces

Today, my always smiling granddaughter, brought home her latest school photo - another lovely shot to frame and make a new scrapbook page.

Meanwhile, out in the garden the Spring blooms are really bursting forth - this Pink Impression tulip is one of my favorites. These purple and white pansies are in my kitchen window box and I love looking at them when working at the sink!
More tulips and violas in pots in the back garden - such gorgeous colors.

Hope those of you still snowbound will soon be out enjoying your gardens too.

  1. Mary, your granddaughter is beautiful! I love her long, curly hair. I'd give anything to have hair like that.

The flower pictures are so refreshing. I long for Summer to be here.

  2. What a lovely girl your grand-daughter is, and how different her school photograph is to the ones we used to have! the spring colours are beautiful too, it's bitterly cold here right now so some bright spring flowers are a welcome sight.

  4. Oh boy, you're in full bloom there, and we still have snow. I'm hoping within the next few weeks will will be seeing some signs of spring, but no new flowers until May and they would otherwise freeze. Can't wait to be looking at beautiful flowers in my own yard. And your granddaughter is indeed a beauty! I bet you have a great time together.
