I have visited your blog for a while. I love seeing all of your travels. I have been to Europe once and dream of going again someday. I love the pictures of provence. I read books about travels and life in France, my favorites are On Rue Tatin, From Here You Can't See Paris and Peter Mayle's A Year In Provence books. Blessings to you and your family this Thanksgiving, your hearth looks cozy and warm to sit by.
Dear Mary, thank you for picture of the warm, glowing hearth and the blessings! I return them on this Thanksgiving Day. Of course, it is not a holiday here but all the same, it has made me stand still and be thankful for all my country has offered me. You are a special person and I am thankful I found you and your most stylish blog during this past year. How sad that you have had problems with comments on your blog. I always enjoy your visits and now I am going scroll down and enjoy the posts I have missed. It is nearly my summer break and I am looking forward to doing more conistent blog visiting and writing! Have a happy day, dear friend. love Eleanor
Oops, I forgot to give Holiday Wishes to Bob too. Happy Thanksgiving, Bob!
Dan is doing all the dishes right now. He's a sweetie. (No, not the Thanksgiving dinner dishes - yesterday's dishes.) I get to do the living room, dining room and bathroom. Lucky me. I'm off to get started now.
Thought I would leave a message to wish you all Happy Thanksgiving. I have loved seeing the pictures from Caunes (and all the others) and am so happy you and Bob had such a great holiday. I know the family were very happy to have you there. Don't we all have so much to be thankful for...
Much love from our Cotswold cottage to you in your North Carolina cottage, Claire xx
Mary, Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and yours. That warm, welcoming fire is so perfect for today...I can just imagine cups of coffee and delicious pumpkin pie with lots and lots of whipped cream being enjoyed nearby and good conversations and laughter too.
Thank you for your message too...visiting your blog is always a treat in so many ways and I'm very glad to know you, even though only via our blogs.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I'm with family in the States this year which I'm enjoying. Digesting a turkey lunch as I write this.

ReplyDeleteI, too, have had some bad and unkind comments left on my blog. Please don't allow this coward to keep you from blogging!
Again thank you for sharing your photos.
