October days in France beckon. Paris will only been seen from the air this time as I fly from London to Toulouse. Hopefully, if a clear afternoon, I can look down and spot this wonderful sight. I last ascended in June 2006. A ninety degree day when the metal was too hot to touch, and the sun blazed down while awaiting the elevator. It's always worth it though, the glorious feeling when you 're actually standing at the top ~ Paris is spread before you in all her loveliness.

I have never been to Paris, but I have to admit it has never been a place I wanted to go. I love the Alsace in France. I know you will have a wonderful time visiting your brother. Bet you can hardly wait,

Mary, that is so pretty! I can totally picture myself and dh having a bottle of wine and some good cheese on a lovely day under the tower. (A friend that had been there told me that is just wonderful!) Maybe R. and I will have a chance to make our honeymoon happen on a trip to Paris... ooh la la! I'm relly excited for you and I'm sure your trip will be just amazing! Love, Vanessa

Oh how I envy you! My sister is going to France Sept 13th for 2 weeks. She is taking a barge tour. It begins in Paris and ends in the wine country...
